Practical Microcomputer Education Material
Shortcut Mastering: Basics to Applications
Microcomputer control technology is well known as useful, however, it takes time and cost to nurture an engineer to implement it. If a proper guidance is not given, in addition, even the capable person becomes to hate microcomputer. When a step-by-step learning is adopted using and operating a hand-on training kit, however, it takes only a surprisingly short period of time to make effects. This microcomputer control course using a training kit and videotapes is designed to nurture a professional microcomputer engineer in the shortest time possible.
Z-80 Hardware Machine / Assembly Language
Training Kit (NextStage)
- Using an all-in-one kit, the control of lamp ON-OFF, switch / sensor input, DC and stepping motors can be studied from the basics.
- Since RS-232C interface is mounted to communicate with PC-98 personal computer, an efficient programming method can be also learned. (*1)
- Since machine language can be translated from Assembler or C-Compiler available on the personal computer, a complicated and high-level program can be easily developed. (Machine language must be transferred to microcomputer board through RS-232C (*2)).
*1. RS-232C Driver (RSDRV.EXE) and RS-232C Cable (Straight Type) are required.
*2. Application Software such as Screen-Editor or Cross-Assembler is required.
Videotapes (10 Volumes)

-
A total of 10 volumes of videotapes provides a systematic and easy approach. It starts from an basic explanation of one-board microcomputer using Z80 processor to programming of the external device control step-by-step thus solving many practical problems. The volume 7 through10 are designed for the advanced and the scanning methods for 7-segment LED and 10-keyboard are included.
